David Cay Johnston, Pulizter Prize winning journalist, asks some tough questions that cut through the current clamor of terror and obfuscation around the proposed government bail-out plan here.

One key question that I’d love to see answered: If AIG and others are too big to fail, what does that tell us about government anti-trust policy and regulatory policy and inaction?

This whole thing stinks. The Administration is trying to shove another truly massive policy through Congress with no oversight or real explanation as to why this specific plan is necessary.
