It’s early morning, and the light has that clear, white quality that I used to notice when walking home from my girlfriend’s, two years ago, through the streets of New York. I’ve been busy doing precious little. I’ve lost the structure that being at the office afforded me, and so my days slip by in a quiet disorder of meals, naps, books and time spent with my family. Today I’m going to work on Crude Sunlight, put in some time, and perhaps try my hand at a short story. I hope you all are in a good place, with good people. That you’ve got some delicious food lined up, and a sufficient number of quiet moments so as to savor the festivities.
